About the AYF

iyaf.gif The Aikido Yoshinkai Federation (AYF) was established to provide a link with Yoshinkan Honbu for those studying Yoshinkan Aikido outside of Japan. The AYF supports local instructors by various means including provision of teaching materials, instructor visits and seminars. AYF instructors are registered and can issue kyu and dan grades depending on their instructor level. These grades are registered at Yoshinkan Honbu and are both recognized in Japan worldwide. Students can therefore be confident that even should they move interstate or overseas they can continue their aikido training at a different club and maintain their ranking.
