Tsuneo Ando Sensei started training Yoshinkan Aikido under Gozo Shioda in 1981, eventually becoming one of his top students and later reaching the rank of 6th dan and attaining the title of Shihan. In 1996 Ando Sensei founded Yoshinkan Aikido Ryu and has continued both studying and teaching aikido in and around Chiba.
